I applied to the AIGA Mentorship program in the fall of 2014 and they chose 25 students to be a part of the program. This program would depict the style or aspirations of the design student and pair them with a local graphic designer that will be able to help them create a self promotional piece and display for the show that was to take place at the SPOT Showcase in April of 2015. I was chosen to be paired with  Shauna Panczyszyn, a local hand letterer and illustrator who works as a freelancer. From the start of the project I knew what I wanted to do. Create a display that replicates that of what you would find at the National Stationery Show. With much hard work, I was grateful to have placed as the best overall presentation, which was not the top prize, however I was humbled. I am grateful for the opportunity and experience. It still is one of my favorite projects that I have ever done.
